![]() This way, when you want a break, the kids can go in the wave pool and you can rest and get in the shade for a bit. The one who goes and gets a spot should grab a nice spot in the shade with a couple chairs and leave whatever you're comfortable with there (towels, cooler, etc). The wave pool by the entrance is smaller, but I personally liked it better. ![]() Then, if there are two adults, I would highly suggest that one of you goes and gets a spot by one of the wave pools and the other goes and gets a locker and Tube Valet. If you got your tickets before, go directly to the bag check. They open at 10, we got there around 9:30-ish. Or, you can take empty water bottles and fill them at the water bottle stations in the park (saves cooler space, too!) Get there early. If you take water, it has to be in a factory sealed bottle. We took sandwiches, chips, and fruit snacks and got one snack there at the end of the day. It speeds up the line to get in if it's small. I packed a small soft sided one and was able to fit it in a locker. If you want to take a cooler, try to go small. We didn't do that because there were only 3 of us going and it seemed like a waste. You basically get the pizza and drinks for free. If you don't want to take a cooler, they have a family 4 pack that includes 4 drinks and 4 pizzas. They are discounted and you won't have to wait in a ticket line once you're there. There is one little change I'd make to the day which I've included. Ok, so this is how WE did it and it worked really well for us. Can't wait to return to use our Rain Checks tomorrow! Upon entry, find a place to put your cooler (we chose under a tree) and then stand in line to rent a locker and get a Tube Valet bracelet. Ramps are more to the right of the ticket booths. If you pre-purchase tickets, bypass ticket booths and go through Security (no glass, and only factory-sealed drinks). This was the best value as it gives any local discounts from Wendy's and Diet Pepsi cans PLUS 4 free personal pizzas and drinks. We bought a family 4-pack at King Soopers grocery store (there is one right by the park!). Wear flip flops so you can leave them at the base of the ride to collect after your ride as many don't allow shoes and there is a lot of walking. The women's restroom I was in had an open shower area which is nice to be able to rinse off and even wash the chlorine out of my hair. One criticism of the park is that it was difficult for me to decipher how to get to ride entrances and if the Tube Valet worked at that ride. ![]() The Tube Valet bracelet is $45 and worth it. Up to 4 people can be allowed Tube Valet access with the one person wearing the bracelet on the ride. Rain checks are good through the end of the NEXT season! It was unclear to me in previous reviews and on the Water World website how the Tube Valet bracelet worked. However, Rain Checks or Refunds are not given on the Tube Valet bracelets. Although it appeared the storm would pass soon after the 60min, the park was closed and Rain Checks efficiently issued at the ticket booths once you showed that day's passes. We went on 4th of July with no thunderstorms or rain in the forecast.but Mother Nature had her own ideas so mid-day all guests were directed out of the water for a maximum of 60 minutes at which time the rides would resume or Rain Checks given. This park is very clean, well staffed, great rides, and the physical plant is well maintained. I have 6 & 9 year olds so the other water park in Denver didn't appeal to me because they aren't ready for the adjacent roller coasters.
